ဒီနေ့ Women’s Equality Day မှာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက အမျိုးသမီးတွေအားလုံးကို လေးစားဂုဏ်ပြုလိုက်ပါတယ်။
အခက်အခဲတွေနဲ့ စိန်ခေါ်မှုများစွာကြားကနေ ခိုင်ခိုင်မာမာ ရပ်တည်နေကြသူတွေ၊ မိမိတို့ရဲ့အသံကို ရဲရဲဝံ့ဝံ့ ထုတ်ဖော်ပြောဆိုကြသူတွေ၊ ဦးဆောင်ကြသူတွေ၊ မိမိတို့ရဲ့ရပ်ရွာအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းကို ကူညီစောင့်ရှောက်ပေးနေကြသူတွေနဲ့ ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်တဲ့ အနာဂတ်တစ်ခုကို ဖန်တီးပေးနေကြသူတွေအားလုံးကို ဂုဏ်ယူမိပါတယ်။
ရပ်ရွာခေါင်းဆောင်တွေ၊ တက်ကြွလှုပ်ရှားသူတွေ၊ ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ထမ်းတွေ၊ ဆရာဆရာမတွေ၊ စေတနာ့ဝန်ထမ်းတွေ၊ စီးပွားရေးလုပ်ငန်းရှင်တွေနဲ့ မိခင်တွေအထိ — မြန်မာအမျိုးသမီးတွေဟာ အပြောင်းအလဲတွေကို စောင့်ကြည့်နေသူတွေသာ မဟုတ်ဘဲ အပြောင်းအလဲကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖန်တီးနေကြသူတွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
တန်းတူညီမျှမှုဆိုတာ အမျိုးသမီးတွေအတွက် စားပွဲပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်ခုံတစ်နေရာပေးရုံနဲ့ မပြီးပါဘူး။ အဲဒီနေရာမှာ ရှိနေတဲ့အခါ သူတို့ရဲ့အသံကို အမှန်တကယ် ကြားနာပြီး တန်ဖိုးထားပေးနိုင်ဖို့က ပိုအရေးကြီးပါတယ်။
ဒီနေ့မှာ အမျိုးသမီးတိုင်း ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာရှိရှိ နေထိုင်နိုင်ဖို့၊ ကိုယ်ပိုင်ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တွေကို လွတ်လပ်စွာ ချမှတ်နိုင်ဖို့၊ မိမိတို့ရဲ့အသံကို ကြားနာတန်ဖိုးထားခံရဖို့နဲ့ သင်ယူခွင့်၊ ဦးဆောင်ခွင့်၊ တိုးတက်အောင်မြင်ခွင့်တွေကို တန်းတူညီမျှ ရရှိနိုင်ဖို့အတွက် အားလုံးအတူတကွ ဆက်လက်ဖန်တီးကြပါစို့။
Today, I want to recognize and celebrate the women of Myanmar — women who continue to stand strong, speak up, lead, care for their communities, and contribute to a better future despite the many challenges they face.
From community leaders and activists to healthcare workers, educators, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and mothers — Myanmar women are not only witnesses to change; they are active participants in shaping it.
On this Women’s Equality Day, may we continue to create spaces where every woman can live with dignity, make her own choices, have her voice heard, and have equal opportunities to learn, lead, and thrive.
